Our beautiful Jake died May 27 2020 from fentanyl poisoning after taking a fake Xanax pill he had gotten from a long-time acquaintance. He was only 25 years old.

He had come back from Boston to ride out the COVID-19 quarantine here at home in Connecticut, where he would be safe. Jake was working remotely, making calls from his office setup in the basement. He just wanted to be able to get a good night’s sleep. But after taking the Xanax, Jake never woke up. Fentanyl had taken his life.

This tragedy hit our family very hard. Now we are working to raise awareness of the dangers of taking any pills or anything else that wasn’t prescribed to you by a doctor.

This website celebrates Jake’s life and the loving and caring soul he was to those fortunate enough to have known him and loved him. Jake’s love will live with us forever!
